About Duphily Designs
How Did It All Begin?: I never considered myself crafty, more of an outside of the box thinker... Fake it til' you make it kinda girl! In 2009, while planning for our wedding and trying to find the PERFECT favors and Bridal Party gifts, I was shocked to find how expensive everything was! Steve and I did not want to start our marriage off in wedding debt. After being disappointed that the favors did not fit in our budget, I decided to create my own wedding decorations and gifts! We did our invitations, centerpieces, menus, favors and gifts for a fraction of the cost! As time went on, I started making decorations for our new home and then our babies Nursery! Shopping with me quickly became "I can make that" or "Don't buy that, I can make it for you". I would raid discount bins and dollar bins for the perfect things I could add my own style to! Gift giving is my love language and I was making all.the.gifts.! That's when God tugged on my heart to start a Gift Basket company! To make gift baskets, at an affordable price, where you still feel like you are buying from a high end boutique! We started the motions, but then life! I kept creating and crafting, but thought a business was out of reach! Who would really buy MY stuff?
How Is It Going?: Blessed is the first thing that comes to mind! I have been beyond blessed with the most amazing customers, friends and family that have supported me during this adventure! In the last 2 years, our dream from a lifetime ago, has become a reality! I have found a passion in designing, creating, bringing visions to reality and topping it all off with a bow! Whether it is just one specific item you are looking for, or a Gift Basket shipped directly to someone special, we are now your One Stop Shop! Our goal remains the same during this unprecedented time, to provide the best value, customer service and turn around times all while blowing away the customer with THEIR creations! That means we work together to make sure each item is designed with your vision in mind!
You might notice, there has been one constant through all of this, Steve. My amazing, supportive husband and best friend! Through every adventure, he has been right by my side cheering me on, wiping my tears or doing the heavy lifting! As my wonderful customers have continued to share their love for our creations, our business has continued to blossom! To continue to provide the service our customers and future customers deserve, BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING!! KCDesigns is now Duphily Designs!! Steve is now officially part of the team and I am SOOO excited! What better person to be my side during this adventure, than the person who helped me build it from a dream! We thank God for putting this calling on our hearts 13 years ago and never giving up on us, even though we may have! ;)
